A commercial building in JP Nagar was converting its basement into managed storage units. The raw concrete ceiling with exposed plumbing and electrical risers was unsuitable for a commercial storage product, and basement humidity required a non-gypsum solution.
Installed a suspended fibre cement board ceiling throughout the basement, incorporating all visible services above the ceiling plane. Access panels were built in at all major junction points. The surface was painted with a washable, anti-mould paint.
The storage units opened fully let within three weeks of construction completion. One storage operator specifically mentioned the ceiling quality as a reason for selecting the unit over a competitor's facility.
