Residential basement being converted to a family entertainment area. The basement had exposed plumbing and electrical conduits that needed concealment but required easy maintenance access.
Grid ceiling was the natural choice for this situation. Installed a standard 600×600 grid system to conceal all services while maintaining lift-out tile access. Added extra panel lights to compensate for the lack of natural light.
The basement is now a usable entertainment space. All pipes and wiring are hidden above the grid, accessible in minutes by lifting any tile. The additional lighting makes the basement feel bright and inviting.
