Built an L-shaped gypsum partition creating a 100 sq.ft home office alcove within the larger bedroom, running to 7 feet rather than ceiling height to maintain air circulation. A frameless glass panel above the partition allows borrowed light from the bedroom window into the workspace.
The home office feels genuinely separate from the sleeping area — the professional can take video calls without disruption to their partner's schedule. The glass panel above the partition ensures the workspace receives natural light from the bedroom window.
