A newly completed apartment in Whitefield had been handed over by the builder with cement plaster showing visible trowel marks, shrinkage cracks at wall-ceiling junctions, and patchy areas where repairs had been made — the surfaces were not paint-ready without remedial work.
Applied a 2mm POP punning coat across all walls and ceilings throughout the apartment, with anti-crack tape embedded at all wall-ceiling junctions before the punning layer. Corners were ruled straight and all trowel marks from the base plaster were fully filled and feathered.
The apartment walls and ceiling have a uniformly smooth surface that the client's painter described as the best surface preparation they had worked on in a new building. The finished paint required only one topcoat rather than the usual two needed on rough plaster.
