A large gym in HSR Layout needed a ceiling for its main training floor that could handle high humidity, constant air-conditioning, and mounting points for heavy suspension training equipment at multiple points across the ceiling.
Installed a powder-coated black aluminium linear strip ceiling on a heavy-duty carrier system, with purpose-built load-rated suspension points built into the framework at positions specified by the gym's equipment layout. The carrier system was designed to carry the combined weight of the strips and the suspension equipment loads simultaneously.
The gym's suspension training equipment is anchored to the ceiling framework safely, confirmed by the equipment installer's load test. The aluminium strip ceiling has shown no corrosion or degradation from the high-humidity training environment over eight months of daily operation.
