A ground-floor apartment in HBR Layout had a covered balcony with painted walls affected by driving rain during the monsoon — causing paint blisters and mould patches that the resident had been managing with antifungal paint without long-term success.
Applied moisture-proof PVC panels in a light grey stone finish across all three balcony walls up to ceiling height. The panels are sealed at the floor junction with silicone to prevent water entry from below during heavy rain events.
The balcony walls remained completely dry and undamaged through the following monsoon season. The stone-finish panels gave the balcony a clean, intentional look the resident described as a significant improvement over the repeatedly patched paint.
