A distribution company in Peenya's industrial zone needed to create an admin office within their warehouse. Forklift traffic, dust, and loading dock vibration made standard gypsum partitions impractical given the risk of damage and humidity from dock doors.
Installed 9mm fibre cement board partitions on a heavy-duty GI stud framework, with extra bracing at forklift-height level to protect against incidental contact. Surfaces were finished with an industrial-grade washable paint.
The office partition has survived over two years of warehouse operations without damage. The fibre cement surface has proven washable and resistant to the dust and humidity of the dock environment, requiring none of the touch-up maintenance the previous wall had needed.
